Video clip for David Bowie's song, shot onboard the ISS, became a Youtube hit

Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield, who recently returned safely from the International Space Station, during his stay on board, became one of the most popular and recognizable astronauts - his videos about the details of space life gained millions of views, the number of followers of his Twitter account also reached almost up to a million. In addition, he sings well and plays the guitar. A few days before returning to Earth, he published the first ever video clip, entirely filmed in space. He approached the matter responsibly - the video clip for David Bowie's song "Space oddity" was filmed, assembled and voiced quite professionally.

The song "Space oddity" was written in 1969, a year after the Stanley Kubrick film "A Space Odyssey of 2001" was released, which David Bowie enthusiastically revised more than once. This single was the first serious success of Bowie, and the space theme entered his songs and stage image for a long time.

In four days, the Hadfield video has already gained almost thirteen million views, quickly leaving behind the original Bowie video , which is not surprising - it’s difficult for a low-budget original, shot almost 45 years ago by an unknown musician, to have a real weightlessness, scenery in the form of a real spacecraft and stunning views of the Earth from space.
