Technopark opened in Kazakhstan
The Alatau IT Information Technology Park opened in the Alatau settlement near Almaty. The management of the technopark concluded memorandums of cooperation with a number of global companies, in particular, with Siemens, Microsoft, as well as with technology parks in South Korea, Egypt and India, reports Prime-TASS .
The construction of the park began in April 2004. Financing of the construction of an object with an estimated cost of 3.367 billion tenge (approximately $ 26.69 million) was carried out at the expense of the authorized capital of the Center for Engineering and Technology Transfer company, formed from the state budget.
