Less than a day since the release of the seventh version of iTunes, hackers from the Hymn project have posted a new version of the software that unlocks the built-in DRM protection.
With the help of the program you can easily remove protection from any file. The “unprotect” procedure is quite simple: a music file is launched for playback in the iTunes player (at an accelerated pace), and the second virtual device records the audio stream and encodes it in the normal MP3 format. For a three-minute music file, the procedure takes about 11 seconds on an average computer. After recoding, you can listen to the files purchased in the store on any MP3 player under any operating system, and you can also copy them freely.
