Girls bloggers prefer to publish texts in their online diaries, but teenage boys show other habits: they like to shoot video. These are the results of the study
“Teens and social media” , conducted by the American organization
Pew Internet & American Life Project .
Approximately 35% of American girls who use the Internet, keep a diary, and among boys these are only 20%. Girls more often publish photos (54% vs. 40%).
But the young men like to upload videos more (19% versus 10%). True, there may be a well-known phenomenon that all new technologies are first developed by the male sex. Probably, Internet video is still considered a novelty.

In general, the younger generation is very actively using communication technologies. Approximately 70% of adolescents talk on a cell phone every day, 60% send SMS daily, 54% use IM pagers on a daily basis, and 46% talk on a landline. However, only 35% of adolescents can boast that they personally meet with friends every day.
