As
hinted earlier by Bill Gates , Microsoft is working on creating its own version of the most popular service for publishing an amateur
YouTube video. The service, codenamed Warhol, will receive the commercial name MSN Soapbox. Now the site at
soapbox.msn.com is open only for internal access. Apparently, the service will begin its work in the near future. This is
reported by insiders and publish even a
small screenshot of the site.
Expected MSN Soapbox functionality:
* hosting video files in almost any format with a maximum size of up to 100 MB;
* support for tags and subject categories;
* watching videos and surfing the site simultaneously in one window;
* installation of personal RSS feeds;
* shared user profiles with the social network
Live Spaces ;
* export videos to the pages of other sites and blogs.
