Apsalar, which has data from 500 million iOS and Android mobile users, found interesting gender differences in how men and women consume apps.
Women install 40% more apps than men, buy paid apps 17% more often, and pay for apps themselves 87% more. In other words, if you develop mobile applications (at least in certain categories), think of women as their main consumers.
Men still lead in mobile games and in-app purchases, while business applications are used 85% more often than women. However, in social media, the power of women is undivided - here they overtake us by 600%, in the news by 90%, and in production - by 85%.

Another interesting fact is that despite the fact that we all have heard about the "topographic skills" of women, navigation applications are the prerogative of men, they use them 40% more often.
