Report from Silicon Valley. Hacker Dojo Tour - Free Coworking Center
Hacker Dojo is probably one of the most amazing places in Silicon Valley. This is an absolutely free coworking center (and community) where everyone can come to work on their startup or project (free office). In addition to the general working area with tables, armchairs and sofas, there is also a workshop equipped with various equipment, from soldering irons and microscopes, to a 3D printer and robotics elements. That's not all. Tired startups and hackers can again get free snacks and coffee, and can relax in the game room, which has ping-pong, billiards, lots of board games and even ... DJ equipment! But that's not all. The main thing is people who go there. In Hacker Dojo there are a lot of interesting people, both pleasant and interesting in communication, and ready to help, share experience. In general, everyone should at least visit this place. For non-paying visitors hours from 8 am to 10 pm, and for paying members fees ($ 100 / month) the place is available 24 hours a day. Sponsors of Hacker Dojo are such large corporations as Google, Microsoft, AT & T, GoDaddy and many others.
Below is an interview with the head of Hacker Dojo, though in English, but it’s more or less clear, plus I laid out the questions I asked him.
WHO FOUNDED THIS PLACE? IS THERE A FREE MEMBERSHIP? IS THIS PLACE OPEN 24/7? WHEN WAS THIS PLACE FOUNDED? WAS THE CITY TRYING TO SHUT YOU DOWN?
