Hello dear habrazhiteli.
As can be seen from our profile - we are a hosting provider, we always brag about our branded iron DELL, Many people remember our post where the
orange dude throws out the server , even in Google, the article is searched for just such a phrase.
So, I actually have the same “guy in orange”, and I want to refute the previous information - I don’t throw away the server, the pictures are staged and in general all photoshop and provocation. I put them in the closet, and they collect dust there. People stumble about them and get upset. After the previous post, we received a lot of letters with requests not to throw the server into the trash can, but to give them up for experiments or in good hands, having solved all the problems with the accounting, we decided to do just that.
')
Essentially. There are 22 servers, all of them without hard disks at the request of our system administrators (well, really, would you like your hoster to give the disk with your data to someone?). I am ready to give absolutely free of charge all these servers in good hands for good intentions. But as always there are several conditions:
- One server in one hand (unless you argue more)
- You have to describe why you need this server by writing a couple of sentences so that I can put this information in this post.
- For obvious reasons, I will not give this server hoster
- Pickup from our office in Moscow (not far from Belorusskaya metro station)
- As stated above server without disks (avito and a hammer to help you)
- To the gift horse ... well, you understand that the equipment claims are not accepted, but I can say from myself that when dismantling all the servers were working and they were wasting the premises of our data center in Varshavka.
Now let's get down to the most delicious and interesting photos and descriptions of servers!
Among the servers there will be like rarities quite interesting except for a collector like me, but also quite working horses on which the sites of
NOT clients of Rusonix will be placed for a long time;)

Of course, the servers come bundled with a mountain of all sorts of stuff that goes on the weight of the boxes! - sled, fasteners, documentation, loops:
We will also distribute the register memory to memory cards in common use (1-2GB in the household computers):
In addition, two trouble-free APCs are given to skilled hands, one of them has a dead battery, the other has a problem with brains. In general, all at your own risk.
E-mail me on the box
orangeman@rusonyx.ru or in the comments of your applications for iron, in the course of distribution, I will update the list of servers being distributed.
Waiting for your letters and interesting stories!
UPD: I did not expect such an influx of proposals and interesting projects.
I am afraid that we will have to take the help of our dear habrazhiteley.
Within a week or two I will rake the mailbox with hundreds of letters and lay out another post with a vote for the most interesting and important projects in my opinion and you will choose the new owners for our hardware!
