IP PBX based on 3CX Phone System: features and configuration
In this post we would like to consider the possibilities and briefly talk about connecting 3CX Phone System - one of the most popular SIP PBXs (which, by the way, was updated to the 12th alpha version on May 2).
Program mini PBX from 3CX is well known all over the world and in Russia in particular (according to Sipnet, this is more than 12% of all Russian subscribers). In the world, the situation is even brighter (study WindowsNetworking.com):

There are many reasons for the popularity of 3CX: simple connection to public telecom operators and local providers that support the SIP protocol, the ability to connect SIP PBX to the channels of the traditional telephone network through special analog gateways. Almost everything is supported by 3CX: IP phones Aastra, Grandstream, Yealink, Cisco, Linksys, Snom and Linksys, Patton, Portech, Grandstream, AddPac, Sangoma PCI cards.
Connecting 3CX to a VoIP operator is quite a trivial process. For example, here is the connection to the same Sipnet:
1. First, we register on www.sipnet.ru , get a test login and password for the service, and then launch 3CX Phone System, go to the VOIP tab Operators> Add Operator
2. Select Generic Voip Provider and specify its name.
3. We specify sipnet.ru as the SIP server and Outgoing proxy, the other settings are as in the picture
4. Enter the password and login received during registration, specify the external number or SIP ID and the number:

5. Then you can specify where incoming calls should come in business and non-working hours.
6. After configuring the line access rules and possible backup routes, the connection should be successfully configured
7. It remains to check in the section “Status of Ports / Trunks” that the provider has successfully registered.
