The 8th Forum for IT directors "I would go to heaven"

As you know, our company 2 times a year holds a large Forum for IT managers of Russian companies. On it we present all our new products, tell about the advantages and interesting features of each solution or service. The 8th DEPO Computers Forum was a record for the number of solutions and services presented: from individual components of the IT infrastructure and specialized solutions to cloud services, which are a ready-made business platform.

The main theme of the event was the presentation of cloud services DEPO Computers. Within this direction, we presented the corporate cloud platform DEPO BPaaS - a unique approach to cloud services through the solution of business problems.

The event was named “I would be in heaven”, which well reflects the creative concept of the Forum and the new service direction - cloud services. The original design of the event emphasized the convenience, availability of cloud services and high quality engineering solutions DEPO Computers.

Forum participants were met by girls at the reception, dressed in the style of airline employees.



At registration, each guest was given a name badge, made in the style of a boarding pass. Badges were “chip” and included personal data for testing VDI solutions and cloud services.



The testing zone of the cloud-based business platform DEPO BPaaS aroused particular interest among the guests of the Forum. Everyone could use their badge as a “key” and easily build their cloud IT infrastructure within a couple of minutes and include all the necessary business services, such as accounting software or a sales employee’s workplace.



It was possible to test cloud services not only in a special exhibition area, but also on your personal mobile device.



Sergey Eskin, President of DEPO Computers, presented to the Forum participants a new line of business for the company - cloud services, which are already available on the website www.depocloud.ru .



Specially invited expert - Vice-President of IDC analytical agency Robert Farish - spoke about what customers in Russia need from cloud services now and presented forecasts for the development of these services in our country. His performance can be found here .



The Forum was attended by heads of IT services from over 400 Russian companies from various industries.



The presentations of the companies' speakers were devoted to the whole range of needs for the development of IT infrastructure: from engineering systems to integrated information security.



Thematic section "IT infrastructure". As part of it, a substantially updated line of DEPO Cloud Systems was provided. One of the main advantages is that when using these computing complexes, the risks of downtime and failure and the system are almost completely excluded.



The head of Information Security is showing a new solution for protecting the network infrastructure of DEPO Capsule . For one minute, for example, all Forum participants connected to Wi-Fi had access to Skype disabled. The new solution allows you to do this, even if the user uses anonymizers.



Technological partners of DEPO Computers - global vendors - told about joint solutions. The event was attended by APC by Schneider Electric, Intel, ISBC, Kaspersky Labs and NetApp. Of particular interest was the presentation of the senior vice president of OEM from the main office of NetApp Rick Skerfield.



Perhaps the most interesting presentations for the audience were the stories from DEPO clients about successfully implemented projects.



Evgeny Shingarev from the Comfort company talks about how it is possible to organize 70 workplaces for the sales department employees within a few weeks, and then scale up the information systems on request within a few minutes. The basis of the project was the decision DEPO VDI .



Head of IT department VNIIA them. Alexander Antonov Dukhova told what IT requirements are important for an organization that develops nuclear weapons in Russia. DEPO specialists have provided comprehensive protection of corporate information, which is guarded by the “secret”.
