Swype keyboard release for Android

I guess no longer needs advertising. Often, “svayp” is already used as a definition of action - the ability to enter a whole word with an on-screen keyboard with a simple sliding stroke.

Today, this wonderful product is out of beta testing and has received the status of an official release.


Swype was created to work with touch screens that mimic the usual (like computers) keyboard in QWERTY format.
The main task of entering information (whole words) with one stroke. To create spaces, simply remove your finger from the screen.
Due to the fact that Swype supports almost 50 input languages, a special algorithm has been developed for Swype to find and correct mistakes made. The method of predicting the input words by the first characters, similar to the T9 algorithm, is also provided.

Recently, Swype has a feature that distinguishes this product from competitors - the ability to save input words in the cloud. Also from the new features added separation of the keyboard into two parts (screenshot below).


Until today, it was not available on the Google market, I had to go to the program’s website and put it from there. Now everything is much easier .

Swype is available both in the free version and in the paid version (the symbolic price is 31.32 rubles or $ 0.99). Differences from the paid version of the free only in the absence of a trial period of 30 days.

It is worth noting that I am not a program developer and the post is purely informational. Perhaps someone else will get acquainted with such a convenient (in my opinion) program.
