Hackers hacked 650 thousand accounts of Second Life

All residents of the Second Life virtual universe are urged to change their game access passwords. As a result of the grandiose hacking, hackers managed to copy a database with private information about all 650 thousand players. In addition to passwords, their names and addresses were also stored in the database.

The attackers reportedly used a hole in the free wiki-engine TikiWiki in the information section of the site to access the database.

The developer of the game Linden Lab assures that the second database with credit card information remained intact, so that the financial state of users is not in danger.
