Playing Pong on the wall of a 29-story building (video)

On Friday evening, residents of Philadelphia could admire an unusual sight: playing Pong on the wall of a 29-story building. The building is covered with a network of LEDs, which allowed to create the corresponding system. The author of the system is Frank Lee, a professor at Drexel University. The system created by this specialist, allowed to control the gameplay with a regular laptop connected to the control system.

Frank Lee, in his own words, decided to create such a system after he saw something similar, with Tetris as a toy. The total number of LEDs on the building - one and a half thousand. The work of the specialist was facilitated by the availability of management software, for which the professor created the Pong port.

The first pancake, as expected, came out a lump, because of a problem with the network. But after a few moments, everything was fine, and the game was enjoyed not only by the developers, but also by the audience, of whom there were quite a lot.
