Google has just launched a new application One Today, which opens a new page in the history of the Google Play Store - a charity. Now, according to the company, it is easier to “do little — change a lot.”
The main idea of ​​the application (which, so far, is only available in the US and by invitation only) is that the user can donate $ 1 per day to a charity project - for example, to save cheetahs, deliver clean water to the needy, housing for schoolchildren, etc. Users can track their “influence” and slightly gemify their donations by sending invitations to friends or sharing their good deeds through social networks.

Interestingly, the participation of non-profit organizations in the program is free of charge, and all donations (except for 1.9% for transfers from credit cards) go directly to charity, i.e. Google abandoned its traditional margin.
