Google prohibits selling / lending your Google Glass

The other day, several news appeared on Habré with a description of the technical specifications of Google Glass, plus a video with a gadget unpacking . But there is one more interesting news - it turns out that the corporation prohibits this device from selling or borrowing (we read it - to allow to denounce) to anyone. Otherwise, the owner will face an unpleasant surprise in the form of deactivating points.

In terms of the use of the device, it is said literally this: “ If you’re looking for a car, you can’t be product warranty. ”

In general, quite an interesting option of selling the device, when the buyer is limited in the resale of this device. Maybe the rules will not be so strictly observed, but I would not like to get a “brick” instead of Google Glass, letting their relatives / friends / colleagues have scolded them for a day. What would happen if the phone manufacturers followed this policy? Then there would be a huge number of “bricks” / deactivated devices.

Of course, it may well be that the restriction will be removed after Google Glass becomes a truly mass device, but so far this is the case - having bought the device or received it as a gift from the company, you can break / disassemble it, but donate, sell or give someone a disdainful device.



One of the first owners of Google Glass put up a device for sale, but then, learning about the rule with bans on the sale, quickly removed them from the auction. So far, the device is functioning normally.
