Friends,
I am pleased to announce that a group dedicated to
Apache Cassandra NoSQL storage is starting in Moscow with support from
DataStax .
In total, the group plans to hold 6 meetings per year. Some of them will be held with the participation of DataStax developers and architects, i.e. there will be an opportunity to ask your questions and express your personal feelings to people who are actively developing the product.

Coordination is conducted in the eponymous group on the site meetup.com:
www.meetup.com/Moscow-Cassandra-UsersThe first meeting will take place on April 25 at 7 pm:
www.meetup.com/Moscow-Cassandra-Users/events/113814132The venue is now being specified.
In addition to the main activity at meetup.com, I will post events on Habrahabr so that the maximum number of people interested in high performance issues and Apache Cassandra in particular, can visit them. The nearest meeting will be published in the "Events" section as soon as we decide on the venue.
And, of course, I recommend joining the group at the address above, proposing new topics for reports, sharing comments on past events and other ways to participate in the life of the new community.
Call for speakers
The speakers are actively looking for - both for the nearest meeting on April 25, and for subsequent meetings in the series. The format can be any - from lightning talk for 20-40 minutes to a serious presentation for an hour and a half. What is important is your experience with Cassandra and the desire to share it.
The setting on the mitapah is very informal.
