On Kickstarter is collecting funds for the game, the heir of the famous Road Rush

Today I stumbled upon a Kickstarter fundraiser for the game, which the developers themselves call the "spiritual heir" of the famous Road Rush series. The Road Rush series of games was very popular in the 90s (at least in my childhood it was) for the Sega Mega Drive. The name of the game is Road Redemption. In the process, watching the trailer immediately captures the “notes” of that old old school game: you can beat opponents with various objects, push them into oncoming cars, and the motorcycle races themselves have not gone away. Arsenal became more interesting: firearms, explosives appeared, samurai swords, sledgehammers and many other fittings were added to the melee weapons from the original game (in the original version there were fists, club, chain and scrap), besides they promised to add a full story to the game. The team of creators came up with a lot of game development and judging by all gaming experiences, so there is every reason to believe that we will see a very good game.

At the moment, collected about $ 40K, $ 160K target and ahead of 26 days. The release of the game is scheduled for August 2014.
