So, I go to a lecture course on fonts. Last Saturday was at the first lecture - really enjoyed it. The lecturer has been teaching graphics for 15 years - he may not read as charismatically as he would like, but he is very informative. For me personally, these lectures are interesting in particular for organizing the perception of font information around, and for general development in general, I strongly advise.

The main objective of the course: the study and understanding of the font culture, the development of basic font tools.
You will analyze the design, shape and style of letters, words, texts; disassemble - what distinguishes bad and good fonts; You will learn about the features of the use of upper and lower case letters, intra letter, inter letter and interline distances. Much attention will be paid to the successful selection of the font for a specific task; building font compositions, etc.
