The race of screen sizes continues - after a line of rather large Galaxy Note smartphones, Samsung announced an even bigger smartphone: a 6.3-inch Galaxy Mega, which will appear in Russia and Europe in May, Mashable
writes .
The new smartphone will come without a stylus, which was a distinctive feature of the Galaxy Note. Earlier this year, Huawei introduced a 6.1-inch phone, but the Galaxy Mega surpasses it by a fraction of an inch.
Oddly enough, the screen resolution of the Galaxy Mega will not be Full HD, but 720p. The smartphone uses a 1.7 gigahertz dual-core processor and 1.5 GB of RAM is embedded, it works on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. The Galaxy Mega will be available with 8 and 16 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded with a microSD card.

Also in the new line will be a slightly smaller smartphone Galaxy Mega 5.8 with a screen resolution of 960 x 540. It will have a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor and also 1.5 GB of RAM with Android 4.2. Mega 5.8 comes with HSPA + support, while 6.3 can connect to LTE networks.
The new phones will have features from previous Galaxy devices, including Group Play, which allows sharing content with other Galaxy phones and tablets on the same Wi-Fi network, as well as a function that allows the user to launch and interact with two applications on the screen at the same time.
