In the American financial spam, a
message was found
with a 25-m frame , that is, with a hidden message that acts on the subconscious.
The detected instance at first glance looks like regular graphic spam, but in reality it is an
animated GIF of four frames . The main frame with advertising text is displayed for 17 seconds, and then three additional frames (10, 40 and 40 ms) flash on the screen, with the word “Buy” scattered in different parts of the screen.
Apparently, this is the first case of application of the 25th frame technology in spam. It is likely that new, more skillful attempts will follow, especially as
graphic spam is becoming more common on the Internet.
