Restaurant of the Future: Instant Service Technology

I want to tell about one interesting project for which we recently made a video at Alconost : fast-service technologies for catering establishments. In the restaurant, built on this technology, visitors can get a ready-made dish almost immediately after making the order.

A little more information about the “restaurant of the future” - under the cut.
The restaurant is divided into three tiers: the kitchen is located on the top, the dining room is on the middle, the dishes are on the bottom.
The kitchen is cooking and the formation of ready meals. As soon as the kitchen receives a new order, the components of the finished dish are collected on a special tray, which is labeled with a code and transferred to the transportation. The dish is transported using a system of moving belts, moving rollers and manipulators, as well as sensors that read the code from the tray and give the command to “move the arrow” at the fork.
As soon as the dish reaches its destination - the hatch located above the visitor’s table - it is captured by the manipulator and goes down to the dining room.
When the visitor has completed the meal, the waiter prepares the used dishes in a special container and places them in the hatch opening in the center of the table. The container is delivered to the lower tier, where automatic washing and sorting of dishes takes place.
Automating the processes of food production and transportation of ready-made meals allows the visitor to reduce the waiting time for a finished order to just a few minutes. Obviously, the capacity of the restaurant increases (up to ten thousand visitors per day is planned), and the costs are reduced. In a healthy economy, this means lower prices :)
Another important detail: the kitchen is completely isolated, and the paths of ready-made dishes and dirty dishes do not overlap, which will ensure perfect sanitary conditions.
