It's no secret how tech-friendly Microsoft products are, but, unfortunately, in some places they are not convenient enough.
My attention was attracted by the image optimization dialog before sending them via Outlook.

')
On this screen, you can see how Outlook is trying to help optimize the size of pictures (this happens when you click the Send button on the picture by the right button from the Explorer). Naturally, you can simply drag the drag & drop pictures into the letter and then you will not see this screen. But the right button is convenient for me because when many applications are open it is difficult to drag everything with the mouse.
So, it would seem a good way to help the user not to overload the Internet channel with excessive megabytes from pictures and photos, but:
1. This was true for dial-up Internet connections. Now high-speed channels allow you to transfer not only pictures, but also streaming video.
2. Not everyone thinks at this moment that Microsoft "compresses" the pictures and they will no longer be of original quality (this should be warned)
But by the way, well, almost figured out with this screen. By default, it offers - Reduce the size, and this is the inconvenience. When you use this function quite often, you want to tick the checkbox - remember my choice, because default is to reduce. Not immediately, but if you look closely, you can see the link - “Show more options”

But on this screen there is no treasured tick :)
Therefore, it remains either to accept or use drag & drop.
PS If someone knows the solution to this problem - tell me (I did not find it in the settings).
