Big Data Week in Moscow. April 25-27

Somehow, before, there was no chance to tell here about our Attic project ( Facebook , VKontakte ). And it turned out.

This year Moscow is a participant of Big Data Week - a world festival dedicated to the topic of processing large amounts of data. In Moscow, the event will take place 3 days - April 25-27 at the Attic of the combined company Poster and Rambler. You can register (and need!) Now .

Program

April 25, Thursday, 7 pm - 9 pm

Master class: "Hadoop Ecosystem"; Alexey Filanovsky, Oracle.
During the master class, you will get acquainted with the key concepts of hdfs and map reduce, learn about which utilities will be able to make working with Hadoop more convenient and more pleasant.

April 26, Friday, 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Lecture: "Hadoop" Konstantin Shvachko;
Konstantin worked at Yahoo and Ebay, is at Hadoop PMC. In this lecture, he will talk about his experience in developing Hadoop. As from a system originally running on three machines, it was possible to make a decision for a cluster of tens of thousands of servers.
