Microsoft, of course, should keep interested developers, retailers, gaming companies, up to date on the development of the new Xbox. Sony, for example, has already provided some information about the PS4, but for the Xbox Durango (this is the code name of the project) so far nothing has been heard. But things can change as early as next month: most likely, preliminary information about the next-generation Xbox will be presented on May 21st.
Earlier it was planned that the so-called Xbox Event will be held in April, the 24th. However, according to
theverge , Microsoft decided to postpone the event to a later time. By the way, the device itself, and not a brief information about it, should be presented at the E3 exhibition, in June of this year.

Now, most likely, information will be provided to developers, purely technical, plus the corporation’s plans for its new gaming console will be revealed. And yes, it may well be that all the hardware of the device will be “sharpened” under Windows 8, the operating system, which Microsoft puts at the forefront of all its developments (well, or almost all).
I would like to hope that Sony will show its new generation console at the same exhibition so that, as always, we can compare these gaming platforms. If the presented devices are really interesting, I personally am going to purchase one of the consoles.
By the way, why not vote on your own choice, colleagues?
