Amazon reduces the price of Windows EC2 server
Amazon does not change its tradition of regularly reducing the prices of services included in AWS. This time, the price of Windows-based virtual machines has come down. The decline in some positions reaches 26 percent.
The price change has affected the following server types: Standard (m1), Second-Generation Standard (m3), High-Memory (m2), and High-CPU (c1) instance families. Prices automatically entered into force on April 1.
For example, now the usual m1 Large (2 cores, 7.5Gb of memory) server in the US East zone will cost 0.364 dollars per hour instead of 46 cents per hour earlier. In this case, 20% will save almost $ 145 per month.
