25% of the Danish energy sector in 2013 is wind turbines

More and more countries use different types of alternative energy. Someone installs a large number of photocell batteries , someone works with reflectors and coolants , well, and someone uses wind energy. Denmark has long been on the list of countries actively working in the field of alternative energy. Now about a quarter of this country's energy needs are met by wind generators.

Not long ago, the 36th turbine with a capacity of 3.6 megawatts produced by Siemens was installed. The Danish government is not going to stop at what has been achieved, and plans to reach a figure of 50%, when half of the country's total energy dependence will be satisfied with wind generators. The deadline for reaching the new mark is not that long - only eight years. Now the total power of Denmark’s wind turbines installed on the coast is 1 gigawatt.

This energy is enough to meet the needs of a million average households in Denmark. It is worth noting that in this country the population is 5.5 million. In addition to building additional wind turbines, the Danish government is also going to undertake a series of reforms, which should lead to the massive introduction of energy-saving technologies.

Finally, by 2050, Denmark is going to completely switch to renewable energy sources. Probably, if no particular economic / military / space cataclysm happens, Denmark will be able to complete this difficult task.
