Joint photo, 1981Today, Paul Allen (I think it's unlikely that his person needs to be introduced) has posted his photo along with Bill Gates. This photo is intentionally made similar to a similar photo from 1981. The PCs and people in these photos are the same. That's just the age, of course, different.
1981, and the time when the picture was taken, are key to Microsoft. That's when Microsoft licensed MS-DOS for IBM. It was a big deal that, among others, gave Microsoft the green light to a successful future.

Living Computer Museum , a museum of old computer equipment, which was opened by Allen not too long ago. This museum has a small anniversary, and two partners gathered in a circle of old iron "friends", from which it all began.
