School goal
The work of the UI-designer does not make sense without developers who implement the interface. But often designers and programmers do not understand each other.
The main goals of the school:
- Introduce conference participants to the basics of interface design.
- Consider the main problems of interaction between designers and developers and their solutions
- Share modern trends and ways of user interface interaction.

Yegor Gilyov
Co-founder of the design studio Turbomilk. Designer of icons and interfaces with ten years of experience. Winner of the Pixelpalooza 2004 icon design competition. Time management evangelist, SnailRider blog author.
Denis Kortunov
Co-founder of the design studio Turbomilk. Engaged in the design of sites and interfaces for over 13 years. In the past, he had the status of Microsoft MVP in the direction of Expression. Organizer of the annual "
Festival 404 " in Samara.
School program
Within the design school “Design of interfaces for non-designers” at the DevCon 2013 conference there will be three master classes, each lasting 1 hour:
- Application interface for Windows Phone: how difficult it is to make simple
- Application Interface for Windows 8: work on the bugs (strangers)
- UX-design: create an interface for living people
All school participants will receive decals.
About DevCon 2013
