More than half of the US population - gamers

NPD surveyed 5,039 members of the control group. And most of the respondents answered that games are a good way to get rid of stress and relax. Importantly, the aspect of relaxation and antidepressant is mentioned by gamers, whose age ranges from 15 to 65 years. That is, the entire target audience.

The challenge for the industry is that customers are a very unstable group that has a huge choice of opportunities to spend their limited free time, they are easily distracted, and in order for them to continue to play, you have to offer something new all the time. ” - NPD analyst Anita Frazier said in a statement. “In order to get to those less involved buyers, the industry needs to work harder, but at the end everyone will have a big reward.”
