Software Day Conference - Legal Aspects of Software

Periodically on Habré you can find notes, a la "put Windows, and they tied me." The questions of the duralks are not as simple as they might seem (despite the fact that everyone is used to saying “this is theirs, but ours is different ...”) But gradually, “ours” becomes like “theirs”. To highlight these not simple questions, we organized our Softverdey conference.

1. Successful implementations of software products will be presented. The demonstrations will show how to solve any other tasks of the customer on the example of the infrastructure of real organizations. In this session, solutions will be presented: Cisco, Check Point, EMC, HP, IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, Veeam and Vmware.

2. The highlight of Software Day will be speeches devoted to the risks of using unlicensed software in the company's infrastructure. The discussion will focus on the legal consequences of using pirated copies of software products, in particular, about the prospects of appearing as a defendant in court on the claim of copyright holders and payment of compensation for copyright infringement under current legislation. One of the invited experts, Alexander Urdenko, an expert in computer forensics at the institute of forensic examinations, will tell about the theft schemes and methods of work of cybercriminals, as well as the possible consequences of real companies and criminal cases.
