Technological Singularity Party

Today, April 1, 2013, the Technology Singularity Party is established!

And what is it?

Technological singularity is a hypothetical moment, after which, technical progress will become so fast and complex that it will be inaccessible to understanding. Computers themselves will create even more complex computers that will independently solve scientific problems that are not subject to man at this level of understanding.

And what will it give?

All the problems of humanity will be solved. Hunger will be defeated. Diseases will disappear. Almost inexhaustible and cheap sources of energy will be found. The human brain can be copied to digital media. Thus, Man, or rather his consciousness, his personality will become virtually immortal. In the conditions of almost inexhaustible resources, all conflicts between various associations of people will cease to exist. All will live in one common world and move freely between countries and continents. Thanks to the possibility of a complete relocation of consciousness into virtual reality, even religious conflicts concerning such things as dress and rites will be exhausted.

What is mankind doing today?

Anything at all, but not the desire for technological singularity. Huge funds and forces of the most developed states are spent on strengthening military power, on international conflicts, on overcoming the economic crises created by these states themselves, on protecting their borders and geopolitical interests, on propaganda, finally. While science in a number of states is financed on a residual basis, in other countries on the basis of a system of grants born under the conditions of under-funding of science. All studies should be adequately funded regardless of the will of the officials and grantors.

Party program

The party of technological singularity calls to direct all ineptly used resources of mankind towards the goal of achieving technological singularity through the financing of natural sciences for the benefit of all mankind.
