Fradkov proposed to fix IT-specialists in castings

The government of the Russian Federation has approved measures taken by the Ministry of Information Technologies to open technology parks in the country in the field of high technologies, Interfax reports . In addition, Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov drew attention to the need to create a comfortable environment for Russian IT-specialists in order to stop the “brain drain” abroad.

“IT is already evolving now. It is a pity that everything develops on that side (abroad) with our brains, ”the premier said. He added that it is necessary to return here highly qualified specialists and "fix them in castings."

In addition, Mikhail Fradkov said that as a result of the implementation of projects to create seven technology parks, 75 thousand new jobs will be created by 2011.

The Minister of Information Technologies and Communications of the Russian Federation, Leonid Reiman, in turn, said that this year it is planned to complete the preparation of business plans for each technopark, and in 2007 it will be possible to start creating them.

According to L. Reiman, the program provides for the creation of pilot technoparks in Moscow, Tyumen, Nizhny Novgorod, Kaluga and Novosibirsk regions, as well as in St. Petersburg and Tatarstan.

It is planned that emerging technology parks will provide
companies in the field of high technology legal, financial, information technology, marketing and other services that will enable these enterprises to significantly reduce costs and concentrate on their core business.
