Today, quite by chance, I discovered that the
OpenGL Programming Guide: The Official Guide to Learning OpenGL, Version 4.3 (8th Edition) , also known as
The Red Book , has finally
come out . For me personally, this edition is especially valuable because it no longer contains information about the obsolete part of the API, which will no longer distract from modern approaches. Also, it covers the entire OpenGL shader language - GLSL, for which a separate book was previously allocated -
OpenGL Shading Language (
The Orange Book ).
