New Facebook home on Android: April 4
Facebook on April 4 invited the press to an event at its headquarters, which is called “Come See Our New Home On Android” (“Come and see our new Home on Android”).
According to numerous rumors, the new Home for the world's largest social network will be a modified version of the Android operating system with in-depth integration of Facebook, which will live on HTC smartphones. Apparently, this is still the very Facebook Phone, which everyone dreamed for many years (rumors about their own mobile phone, which Facebook is preparing in conjunction with HTC, began to go back in 2011).

According to preliminary data, the new Android will not be different radical changes, but rather will be “raid” Facebook with additional functionality at the application level. We can assume the presence of a pre-installed client, Messenger, Camera, social sharing "from any point", a modified Facebook Home main screen with news and access to social network applications. And, of course, do not forget about advertising.
It is also possible that this will not be a modified OS at all, but only a shell - like Nova or SO.HO, which will be compatible with the standard Android version. This option is supported by the possible independence from the manufacturer and simpler development, but the capabilities of such a launcher are of course incomparably smaller than those of the native version of Android.
