Jason Zander confirmed his participation in the DevCon 2013 conference

We are pleased to announce that Jason Zander, Corporate Vice President of Windows Azure Development, has confirmed his participation in the DevCon 2013 conference. At the opening of the conference, he will talk about the development tools and the Microsoft cloud platform.

The name Jason Zander is widely known to developers. Until September 2012, when he joined the Windows Azure team as vice president of development, he led the development of Visual Studio for more than 5 years, and before that, he was responsible for the CLR, the .NET Compact Framework, and ASP.NET for more than 2 years technology.
Jason was one of the CLR developers responsible for file formats, compilers, debugging / profiling, and integration with key products such as Microsoft SQL Server. Before he became responsible for developing Visual Studio, Jason worked on many Microsoft products, such as SourceSafe, Rpository, and ODBC. Before joining Microsoft in 1992, Jason worked at IBM on Distributed SQL and SQL / 400 in the Rochester lab.
