Fuel - the world's smallest "emergency" charger

Each of us, probably, was in a situation where literally crumbles were not enough to make the right call, to search for something on the web. A text message from the bank is about to arrive, or you’ve almost found the right house on Google Maps, and that’s it, the device is being cut down. For such cases, invented the so-called "emergency" chargers, which are designed to quickly recharge the battery. One of these devices is Fuel, the world's smallest charger.

Despite its size, this mini-battery can charge your phone / communicator for active use for 20-30 minutes. The dimensions of the device are so small that it can be worn instead of a keychain. The device is currently billed on Kickstarter, where in a short time it gained $ 17,000 out of the 20 required to start production. And until the end of the fees there are still 24 days left, so the developers obviously will collect much more than they were going to.

Inside the Fuel, as expected, a miniature battery, Li-ion battery at 220mAh. Most devices of this charge will be enough to replenish 7-10% of the charge of its own battery. To indicate the progress of work there are three LEDs.

The case of the device is made of aluminum, so you can not be afraid of the destruction of the case right in your pocket (what would you expect if the case were made of not very high-quality plastic).

There is, however, one thing - probably the old device models (plus the iPhone) will not be able to charge without adapters. The fact is that the connection port here is Micro-USB. But now almost all smartphones come with such a connector, so this emergency charging will work for 90% of modern communicators / phones.

And yes, the cost of the device will be $ 24.99 + shipping. Not so little.
