Today, YouTube’s popular video hosting service has opened an affiliate program for everyone who can get a portion of YouTube’s advertising profits. In order to participate in this program, you must have an AdSense account, as well as post videos on the service.
Previously, Google launched a similar system in test mode, and since May 2007, more than 100 YouTube authors have participated in it.
At Google, they say that only authors of exclusive content, as well as those over 18 years old, can take part in the program. There will be no partners and users who post content whose rights belong to various cinema, television and video studios and channels.

According to YouTube, some user videos today attract thousands of users who also broadcast ads, so it was decided to somehow motivate such authors.
Today, the program works only in Canada and the United States, but in the very near future it will work wherever AdSense works, including in Russia.
