Blizzard goes to the mobile market - "Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft" in the summer on iPads

At the Penny Arcade Expo, Blizzard announced its new game.
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft will be a collectible card game with the Free-to-Play distribution model. We are promised more than 300 cards with the ability to re-buy packs of 5 cards each. In the new creation Blizzard declared battle.net support and the ability to play 1 on 1 with opponents around the world.

The product will be primarily released on PC and Mac, a little later on the iPad (!) What is interesting is that only 15 people work on the project, it was designed specifically to experiment, whether a small team can do something in the “epic Blizzard style " (with).
Beta is expected in the summer, release is scheduled for this year. Registration for beta is now available .
