Three Posters applications were updated and updated at once - an
application for iOS ,
Android and Windows Phone. And this, I must say, is quite a powerful update.

What was added?
')
- News for Muscovites: now with the help of the application, they can book tables at many popular restaurants in Moscow, including 24 restaurants that are on the “Best in Moscow” list according to the editorial board of “Poster”. In addition, the reservation is available on the website "Posters" and in the application "The Best in Moscow" for iOS.
- Now the site and applications "Posters"
work in 133 cities . The list was added to Krasnoyarsk, Vladivostok, Barnaul, Orenburg, Saratov, Tyumen, Khabarovsk, Ulyanovsk and another 103 Russian cities. Residents of these cities can watch movie schedules, read and add reviews of films and places - cinemas, restaurants, cafes, clubs and more.
- The new version of the applications has a number of small improvements, including support for iPhone 5 in the iOS application, the ability to share information about places and events via SMS, e-mail, facebook, twitter and Vkontakte, an improved online purchase interface movie tickets and IMAX 3D sessions and 4DX in the schedule, the filter "The best in Moscow" in restaurants and other functions.
And about the numbers
However, this is not interesting to me - when we were preparing for release, we looked at the numbers for all applications. Since the stories about attendance, recurrence and other mobile applications in Russia are rarely told (or we are blind and miss everything), even referring to presentations on the performance indicators of the American market, we decided to briefly tell.
- In January 2013 we recorded 1 million 100 thousand installations of mobile applications "Posters". 70% of users who installed the application will use it later. The distribution by platform is: iOS - 77%, Android - 18%, Windows Phone - 5%. The dominance of iOS, however, is largely due to the fact that the application for this platform was launched first of all - in October 2009, for Android - in June 2011, and for Windows Phone - less than a year ago, in May 2012.
- The monthly active audience of applications in January 2013 amounted to 550 thousand unique devices. On average, each user enters the application 5 times a month. The ratio of the number of installations to the active monthly audience is the same for all platforms.
- Over the year, the audience of Afisha mobile apps grew by more than 2 times. The fastest growth app shows for Android. The growth rate of its audience is 1.5 times higher than that of an iOS application.
- Finally, users of mobile applications are increasingly buying tickets with their help. On average, every 4th cinema ticket sold by Afisha was purchased using applications. At the same time, owners of gadgets with iOS buy tickets more actively - about 5 times more often than Android fans. Honestly, I can't imagine why - maybe, in principle, we are used to buying more.
