Experimental demo of Google Chrome - turn any website into an interactive 3D maze
A new experimental Google Chrome demo allows you to turn any website into a three-dimensional maze and play it into a game with a ball rolling around on the markup elements. And as a game controller, you can use a smartphone with an accelerometer. However, if the smartphone is not at hand, you can play without it, controlling the ball from the keyboard.
The goal of the game is to hold the ball from one corner of the site to another, to the goal, simultaneously collecting bonuses. A player has three lives and 300 seconds.
The mobile browser uses the smartphone's accelerometer API and synchronizes with the desktop version, which serves as a monitor, via Websockets. To connect a smartphone and a computer, you need to log in to your Google account. In case someone doesn’t earn something (experiment, after all) - here’s a gameplay video.
