Ink control for Android devices on GTC 2013

A prototype of Nuidroid gesture recognition technology was presented at the NVIDIA GTC 2013 conference . Distinctive features of the presented product is its optimization for the ARM architecture, as well as full compatibility with Android devices.

The Nuidroid demo was launched on the OUYA gaming console running Android 4 with a connected Asus Xtion PRO 3D sensor. The power of the Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, which is used in the console, was enough to ensure the operation of the Nuidroid algorithms, as well as to run full-fledged 3D games on a Full HD screen.

Perhaps soon, Nuidroid will allow you to see applications and games in the Kinect style on various Android devices: game consoles, SmartTV, tablet computers, etc.
