On the portal "Open Data" published information about more than 600 stationary complexes of photo and video recording of traffic violations, installed on the roads of the capital. The data is available in the form of a table by which car owners will be able to check their usual route, and are also available for unloading in CVS format, which developers can use to create applications, for example, warning the driver about the need to reduce speed on a certain section of the road (such handwritten radar detectors ).
For each set of photo and video recordings, information is available about the exact place of its installation, about which way (to the region or center) it is directed to and what violations it fixes - exceeding the maximum speed, driving to a dedicated lane for public transport or non-compliance with new rules movement of freight transport.
At the same time, the portal has data on urban “speed bumps”, corresponding to GOST and legally established on the streets and courtyards. Users will be able to check the legality of artificial irregularities, using the search by address, county or district. For each “speed bump,” the exact coordinates of its location and the material from which the irregularity is made are indicated.
The Open Data portal began work on January 29, 2013 and became the first such platform in Russia. Moscow authorities have already disclosed 147 different data packages for outside developers and community activists. Most of them are available simultaneously in three types - tables, in CSV or XML format, with geolocation to the map of Moscow. The rules allow the use of information, including in commercial products. Applications and services using city data are published on the portal in a special directory.
Although Yandex maps know many of these points, it is still useful information that can be used in developing their applications of radar detectors.
