Another vulnerability in the lock of some Samsung smartphones

Someone Terence Eden discovered a critical vulnerability in Samsung Galaxy Note II Loxrin from Android 4.1.2. There is a big chance that some other Korean manufacturer’s Android devices are vulnerable.
This method is slightly different from that described earlier and does not require an ultra-precise hit in a very short time interval.
Using the method described by Terans, it is possible to completely disable Lockscreen and run any application in a matter of seconds, even if the smartphone is protected with a template, password or face recognition method.
Under the cat step by step instructions:

1. Click the emergency dialing button on the lock screen
2. Dial any non-existent number, for example - "0"
3. Press the green button
4. Close the dialog that appears.
5. A short screen will appear with applications
6. During this time, you can open any application / widget / settings
7. You can also open the dialing application, from where to call any number
8. Download from Google Play application to disable Lockscreen

While Samsung has not released a patch, Terans recommends installing third-party ROMs as a solution to this problem. It is also possible to significantly reduce the likelihood of a screen with applications by turning off the animation: “Settings -> Developer Options -> Window animation scale -> off”
