We are pleased to announce that today AppCode 2.0 has officially become available. In this release, we have added support for the popular Kiwi testing framework. The new AppCode integrates two external documentation browsers Dash and Ingredients.
AppCode would not be itself if it had not acquired a whole pack of “smart” features, including: new refactorings, advanced code generation, improved support for writing code and its analysis, and much more.
Here are some new release features: ')
Extended and improved set of refactorings , including Move / Copy / Clone , as well as Pull Members Up / Push Members Down .
Added more than 2,000 messages from the Clang compiler, which are displayed directly in the editor. When running code analysis in batch mode, diagnostics from the Clang Analyzer are displayed.
Core Data objects are now displayed in the debugger .
Improved support for iOS devices , including the ability to run tests and Instruments.
More code generation features : now you can easily surround the code with an if -respondsToSelector: check, automatically add the methods -IsEqual: and -hash, -description, -copyWithZone :, -initWithCoder: and -encodeWithCoder:.
Now AppCode supports XPath and Emmet, guarantees full compatibility with the latest version of Xcode. IDE has become even faster, support for version control systems has been expanded, icons for retina screens have been added, and for better concentration, a dark Darcula user interface.
