Today was the release of the final version of MongoDB 2.4. One of the new features is support for full-text search with morphology and stop words. True, so far only in experimental mode. Among the 15 languages supported there is Russian, which is very pleasing.
Another noticeable change is the change of the javascript engine. V8 is now used instead of SpiderMonkey. Quite a logical step, now it would be nice to see the map-reduce comparative tests.
You can also note improvements in the indexing and sampling of geo-data.

And one more major change: adding user roles and privileges (read, readWrite, dbAdmin, clusterAdmin, etc.). Let's see what happens.
Full list of changesI was pleased that along with the main release a new version of the driver for C # was released with support for new features.
