This summer, the
Internet Protection League (to be confused with the Internet Security League) began a project of emergency notification of threats to network freedom in a way that is typical for the network - the dissemination of information and organization symbols by automated means. In particular, an image of a black kitten with a psychedelic look was chosen as an attribute of the organization.
As it turned out, the activists' fantasy did not end there, but gradually turned into real life, and in a very effective way! The organization installed searchlights in San Francisco and New York and began to broadcast an image to the clouds or walls of a tall building - a symbol of their organization, just as Batman did in the Dark Knight movie series.

')
Lafayette Avenue, New YorkA similar event was held in San Francisco against the background of the famous bridge:

League activists have planned similar events in other cities of the world (in Europe - this is London, and in Asia - Mongolian Ulaanbaatar):

Moreover, if you consider that in your country or city also something or someone threatens the freedom of the Internet (like
SOPA and PIPA laws), the organization’s activists suggest writing to them at this address
team+spotlights@fightforthefuture.org even if You do not have enough funds, and, apparently, a similar event will be held for you.
You can donate funds to the organization or in any other way support it
