Beer advertising in Belarus will go online

Igor Korzun, representative of the Bobruisk brewery, on behalf of the Belarusian brewers, said that if a new law on advertising in the country is adopted, the industry will look for other channels to promote the product. He mentioned the Internet as a convenient medium for beer advertising, the Belarusian News portal reports.

The new law on advertising, which is planned to be adopted at the autumn session of parliament, introduces restrictions on TV advertising of beer and a total ban on outdoor advertising of this product. In addition, advertising of alcoholic and energy drinks, tobacco, breast-milk substitutes, and medicines using the doctor’s image is limited.
