CeBIT 2013. Mobile devices. The final post about the exhibition
Almost a week has passed since the end of the CeBIT exhibition in Hanover. I probably will not repeat and tell about the novelties of the computer market. Let me just remind you that you can read about them here: day one ,

As a final report, I propose new items of the mobile world, which are slightly dimming against the background of the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S IV, but still deserve attention. For example, Lenovo presented a phone with FullHD resolution.
In comparison with the Galaxy Note II, it is slightly larger than the Samsung.
It should be noted that this is an atomophone, that is, the base has become the mobile platform Intel CloverTrail with the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The basis of this phone is the Intel Atom Z2580 processor (two cores with a clock frequency of 1.8 GHz), PowerVR SGX544 acts as a graphics accelerator. The amount of RAM (2 GB) and internal memory (32 GB + MicroSD slot) is large enough, but you have to take into account that the Lenovo K900 is equipped with two cameras - 13 MP and 2 MP for the front, so the photos quickly consume extra gigabytes. The battery that has to cope with this celebration of life has a capacity of 2500 mAh.

Another super fun thing was shown by the guys from Durabook. Panasonic Toughbook main competitors brought a tablet based on the third generation Intel Core i5. Up to 16 gigabytes of RAM, one HDD or a 2.5 "SSD and another mSATA SSD can be installed in the device. The display with a diagonal of 10 inches has a resolution of 1024 * 768 and a maximum brightness of 700 nits. Of the required interfaces are: LAN, WLAN , Bluetooth, WWAN (LTE / 3G), GPS, two USB 3.0 ports, miniUSB 2.0, SD-reader and PCMCIA slot. The battery has a capacity of 5200 mAh, in addition it is possible to attach the second one to the same. But the battery life even with two batteries will be 9-10 hours - not enough ...
At the Samsung booth, of course, SGS IV was not there yet, but it was possible to look at other innovations. The main event at CeBIT was Galaxy Express. Outwardly very similar to SGS III, it has a low screen resolution (800 * 480) with a diagonal of 4.5 ". Otherwise, it is a decent device: a dual core 1.2 GHz and 5-megapixel camera can attract buyers (I myself would I did not buy such a screen.
Protected smartphone Samsung X Cover 2 has an improved screen compared to the first version. More dramatic changes have occurred.
A huge miracle, called Galaxy Note 8 LTE, seems to fill the gap between 7 and 10 inch versions of tablets.
The characteristics of the new device are also good: Cortex A9 is about four cores, 2 gigabytes of RAM and a S-Pen stylus. Compare the dimensions with the Galaxy Note II can be in the photo below.
As I already wrote, the exhibition “turned out” with terrible force, and without Huawei and ZTE, I simply could not pass. Let's take it in order, first one of the largest vendors of cellular equipment and Megaphone best friends, then the second largest company in China and at the same time a manufacturer of smartphones, modems and phones for Beeline and MTS. However, I will correct myself right away, both companies work closely with all Russian operators and I will not begin to divide them according to the degree of attachment to PPSOS.
First, Huawei: Ascend G510 dvuhsimochny looks quite suitable device, but the resolution of only 854 * 480 knocks it out of the ratings of the winners. The MediaTek MTK 6577 processor shows good potential and is already common in various smartphones from Chinese manufacturers.
Huawei Ascend Mate has a diagonal of 6.1 inches and a resolution of 1280 * 720. A comparative photo with the Samsung Galaxy Note II below, and in general clearly traces the parallel between the Ascend P2 and Mate from Huawei and SGS III and Samsung Galaxy Note II from Samsung. It is worth noting that the Mate is equipped with a 13 MP camera with a very decent picture quality.
ZTE demonstrated the Grand Memo, whose name elusively echoes the words Galaxy Note ... But okay, the stuffing is completely different - a quad-core Snapdragon with a frequency of 1.5 GHz, a diagonal of 5.7 "and a 13 megapixel camera. 3200 mAh capacity.
ZTE Grand X Pro is a direct competitor to the Huawei Ascend G510, the same two SIM cards, the same MediaTek MTK 6577, but the resolution is 1280 * 720. Of course, not FullHD, but at the same price - a significant factor.
Perhaps all this year about Hanover and the exhibition. First impressions subsided, the disappointment was gone, there were only pleasant moments like the warm spring sun and meetings with old acquaintances. At the exit from the exhibition hung a poster, with the optimistic inscription "See you again!" And the dates of the next exhibition, but somehow I'm not sure about that ...
