The head of the development department (Chief Architect) of the social network Google+, Yonatan Zanger (Yonatan Zunger), has published a
question for all Google Reader users on his blog.
Zanger asks to explain what specific features users find the most useful in Google Reader. In the future, such features can be added to other Google services, for example, to the social network Google+.
Zanger warns that any comments with complaints about the closure of Google Reader will be deleted. Despite this, for incomplete days from the date of publication, the entry has already collected 395 comments, and the author simply does not have time to block the violators.
Such an appeal from one of the leading developers of Google looks rather strange. Google Reader was a specialized program that clearly fulfilled its function. It is not clear what he wants from readers.

Closing the project, which is used by almost every journalist and blogger in the world, Google organized the worst PR that you can imagine. Now they ask, “What did you like about Google Reader?” As if they didn’t understand why people used the RSS aggregator at all, as if they didn’t have statistics on user activity.
