HTC confirms the release of devices on Android

• The device based on Android will be released in the second half of 2008 on the European market
• The device will most likely have a touch screen - that is, it will be a communicator rather than a smartphone

In fact, I personally am very surprised by the lack of classic hype around Android - although, on the other hand, Google is not Apple. In addition, HTC’s desire to support both Android and WinMobile raises some doubts - it will be difficult to sit on two chairs, especially if we take into account that the hardware platforms will be different and, in fact, we will have to support two rather different technological processes. In short, “it’s clear that it’s a dark business” - and, as I see it, it’s unlikely that something will be known for sure until mid-2008 (we are waiting for “leaks”!)
